What does it do? It allows two computers to share peripherals – monitor, keyboard and mouse. BUT – it assumes both computers can drive two monitors at once! This feature – allowing two computers to both operate in dual-monitor mode, is what makes this particular KVM switch particularly valuable! Because of the switched USB hub, you can share other peripherals, such as cameras and card readers, as well. Used in our laboratory to drive twin 27 inch monitors for several months.
